Loved the waterfalls. It is inside the thick forests of western ghats and we are allowed to go only in the forest department vehicles. I felt very much light and elated after the visit. I walked a bit along the water streams into the forests (not advised). Definitely check if the waterfalls is open or not before visiting the place. It is recommended to go early to beat the crowd, with the crowd the experience might get spoiled.

Excellent get away, so close to the city of Coimbatore, yet so secluded and not so well known. The tourism department's arrangements are exemplary. No plastics;water, food, beverages, oil, shampoo banned. Vehicle entry beyond the check post is not permitted and visitors are transported into the forest area where the falls is situated. From the drop off point, a scenic walk to the falls, of about 11/2 kms, is not a very difficult one though it's a kucha road. Separate bathing areas, changing rooms, and toilets for men and women have been provided for.

Once you reach the place need to walk about 10 to 15 minutes inside the forest but worth a trek. Waterfall is nice and cold. Lot of monkeys are there and can see symptoms of elephants presence inside the forest. Really worth a visit in the city

Been there couple of months back with family, though had to trek for couple of kilometers , the tiredness went off as soon as we saw the waterfalls. good place for children and family to have a fulfilling bath. The place for dress change could be well maintained.
