As the temple is taken care by some private people the was very well maintained and clean provide calm and silent environment to be in peace.
but during the peak hours that is in the morning and evening the temple is jam packed but yet it an Auspicious time to be in the temple.

Eachanari Vinayagar Temple is the temple, we everytime worship when myself along with my family travel to Coimbatore. This temple got built up, when the idol of Vinayagar measuring 5 feet high and 3 feet in diameter was being transported from Madurai Vandiyur theppakulam in a cart for installation at Perur Pateeswarar Temple. But, unfortunately the axle of the cart broke and it became seated in the place where the temple was constructed. Will feel peaceful, when visiting this temple. The temple was open throughout the day from morning 5.30AM. Lets go one time to Eachanari temple to get Vinayagar's blessings.

This Vinayagar Temple is visited and repeated by all those who have faith in Lord Vinayagar. You get a holy darshan and have your special puja without any hassle. The warmth and respect one can find one self there as the priests are all so nice. Located in a street end, admired and worshipped as family deity by many.

The Moolavar of this temple is actually made for the installation at Perur, Arulmighu Patteswarar Temple and since the cart carrying moolavar struckdown at this place from Madurai and Eachanari become the blessed place of Lord Vinayaga. Hence the Vinayagar in this place is called as “Eachanari Vinayagar”, one of the famous vinayaga of whole Tamilnadu. One of the famous Vinayagar Temple is one at Eachanari, which is situatedon the Pollachi highway 9 Kms away from Coimbatore.

Eachanari is situated on the Pollachi highway 9 Kms away from Coimbatore.Measuring 6 feet high and 3 feet in diameter this vinayaga idol is said to be brought from Madurai and on its way the cart broke and they built the temple since they couldn't move the idol.
This temple is on the highway and you can get your blessings as you pass by. Best thing about this temple is, it is one among the famous temples of coimbatore and it is not crowded. But you may find the parking on the highway a strenuous act.

My brothers sons wedding was held in this temple. The priests were very cooperative.
All the arrangements were taken care of by them. The ganapathy is very powerful
and beautiful. We had a good Darshan. The only problem is car park ,because the temple is on the main road and we cannot park many cars.

u can reach kinathukadavu by Bus... It is presented between Pollachi and Coimbatore... both are about 40 mins travel duration..

If you are starting from Coimbatore then it is hardly 20 minutes to reach the temple by car. The temple is open from 5 am to 10 pm without break. Therefore you can start by around 530 and have a peaceful darshan. In case you want to perform special pooja select a working day. Also the temple website gives you details of all pooja and cost too. Hope this helps you plan your trip. I assume you are new to Coimbatore area. Therefore suggest you hire a call taxi. Else there are tons of buses that can take you there.

This temple is very popular among locals in and around Coimbatore district. You can take buses either from Pollachi or from Coimbatore. Frequent bus services are available. The highest bus services in Tamil Nadu state is between the above two places. Almost every 5 minutes there is a bus. Coimbatore has four major bus stands. Take a city bus to Ukkadam Bus stand from. It is the station for buses to nearby kerala towns. From ukkadam you can find plenty of buses are available and leaving every 5minutes are less to Pollachi. Buses to Palani, Udumalai (udumalpet) Munnaar, Vaalpaarai also go through Pollachi. Just in 20 minutes you will reach Eachanaari. The buses stop in front of the temple. Almost all buses has regular stop. Other buses will stop on request. The ticket cost would be less thar Rs. 10/ (INR 10). If you are coming from south (Say via Madurai) take a bus which goes to coimbatore via pollachi. After pollachi just in 45 minutes the bus will stop in Eachanari. Talk to the conductor and request. In Ukkadam during cowd time the conductors usually refuse your boarding to Eachanari as there wont be any passenger replacing your seat after Eachanari and there would be a lost for the bus. In that case take a ticket to Pollachi and get down at Eachanari and the conductor would be more than happy to serve you. The ticket to pollachi is less than Rs. 30. This is the most cheap and quick access. Total time is approx. 1 hour including the buses from coimbatore to ukkadam. From the out satation bus head in copimbatore that is central bus stand TTC bus stand both located within few hundred meters from Gandhi Puram City bus stand, you can find direct buses to Eachanaari which is the cheapest mode of transport. But you have to wait for an hour if you are not lucky. frequency is less. Better take the Ukkadam bus stand from any where from Coimbatore. Well connected with Coimbatore Central Railway Station, Central Bus Stand and of course Airport. From all over the city you can find buses to ukkadam. Dont take auto rickshaw (tuktuk). If you prefer take call taxi which is economical than auto. If you are traveling in group or with family avoid all these and better take call taxis for entire trip which is comfort with economy. take fast track call caxi for package minimum 3 hours thereafter on hourly basis extended. Fast track call taxi is better for package trip. 3 hours to you can have 10 hours. Rs. 150 for 10 km for 1 hour and so on is the charges. If you feel to have a single drop only then go far Red Taxi. In case of single trip call taxi, take the taxi from ukkadam. To ukkadam go by city bus which is economical and time saving also. If you are arriving Coimbatore from kerala, just see whether the train stops at combatore central station. Most trains will. some train will stop in poththanur. and some in both. Eachanari is at the outskirt of coimbatore on the way to pollachi. Just for a rough idea. Central Railway station to Ukkadam bus stand. Buses will reach within 10 minutes and the charges are Rs. 3 to Rs. 9. Infront of the railway station you can find buses gioing every minute to ukkadam (Mostly the last stop). Gandhipuram to Ukkadam almost the same cost by buses but the time is 10-15 minutes some private buses it will take 20 minutes. Dont board in green color mini buses travel is horrible. Best wishes. Lord Ganesh blesses you and your family. It is belief that thouse who seek to go to Eachanari Pillayar, they get some form of lucks. if you get please post me.
