Temple administration strictly as per shastras. Very clean atmosphere. All poojas as per tradition. No parking facility. But can park vehicles in nearby roads. Heart of the city.

An Ayyappan temple which holds the sanctity as seen in Kerala. The rituals are tantric in nature - Kerala style.
During the mandalam period this temple will be thronged by Ayyappa Devotees.

The city of Coimbatore boasts many temples for Lord Ayyappa of Sabarimala (but, none is equivalent to the exact replica at Raja Annamalaipuram, Santhome, Chennai). Best in Coimbatore is in Sidhapudur area near bus stands..very traditional and divine

The temple of Lord Sri Ayyappa Swami is situated in the centre of the city of Coimbatore. It is honoured as the second Sabarimala by devotees. The temple, Sidhapudur Sri Ayyappa Swamy Temple is considered as a mid-station for rest, when the worshippers commence their Sabarimala Pilgrimage. This place is in known for purity and divinity.

In the early stage of establishment of the temple, specifically during 1942, some of the devotees started a Pooja Sang as a simple way of worship through Bhajans. During one of the traditional Mandal pooja, they started the Ayyappan Villaku Pooja, followed by the beginning of the Sabari Mala Yathra. This custom was then followed every year seriously.

The temple follows kerala traditions and rituals. You will not have people demanding for money. Peaceful atmosphere. Rituals really yield results. Feel good to touch the young cows gomatha behind the temple where a special place is provided for them. Altogether a peaceful place to pray

This temple is built between a Grand banyan tree and a Vembu tree at its entrance. Built in traditional keralite style and the temple has several deities. The temple is well organised, has a priest for every deity, the tickets are reasonably priced and above all clean. They give delicious prasad and overall, it is a one of the best temples in town. A visit has also got tremendous religious significance as it offers a place to parihars to doshams.
