This small museum in a 400 year old house provides a chance to step through the front door and imagine life as it was once lived. It's a welcome destination if you've visited one too many temples on your travels. In addition, each room contains a different collection - lamps, kitchen equipment, sari silks and so on. My favourite was a small, rather wonky cardboard model of Tipu's Tiger mauling a European - based on the magnificent life size model in London's Victoria & Albert museum. It's near the Ekambareswarar Temple and easy to find.
