We stayed at Yelagiri for 2 days. We stayed during the week days so it was quite deserted. There are a few activities and adventure parks where you can spend some time with kids. The climate was present during my stay.

This place is perfect in monsoon. The drive itself is please . Lake is small. But you can enjoy boating. There is nothing much to see. But the feel is good

A quick weekend getaway. A small hill station, not much to do, but pleasantly very less crowded. The nature park was surprisingly very well maintained and clean with so limited resources. Overall, a nice break!

Stayed in AM Resort over the weekend. Time has literally come to a stand still here. This is by no means a resort but might have been created as one a few years ago. Generally travellers end up here as a 'last resort'. A Dragon...More

People travelling from long distance like chennai are advised to switch your plans to yercud since yelagiri has nothing special. Moderate temperature. But during festival time they decorate the place in forms of animals using eatables and flowers. Poor accessibility. People are helpful.

It's free of cost. However, let me give you a heads up that it's not ideally a trekking spot. Just climbing up a little and you reach there.
