This was randomly interesting although not cheap. The crystal objects are curious although there is no signage about them but they are filthy! Why would you not clean them? It would look great if cleaned and maybe have a shop selling crystal at the end? No? Not really making the most of this unusual collection.

this is quite interesting. The price may have felt like a bit much in comparison with the price of the whole palace tour. There were far fewer visitors here then at the palace, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. There were some interesting items to view.

Static display, cannot take photos at this venue, but very interesting pieces, and also large quantity. We had a guide take us, so probably made more interesting than if went alone.

Maybe max one or two glass items make you say Wow but rest all items are just glass items. I think if the king had seen these items he would have rejected these items too from the Britishers.
Maybe Use this entry fee for Palace Guide or to buy some items.

If you love crystal, this is a must visit while in Udaipur. The displayed items are beautifully crafted and bring to life an era of grace and beauty that is unlikely to ever exist again! The sheer luxury and clever designs are mesmerising.
It was a privilege to have been able to experience these beauties.
The only drawback is that there is no photography allowed. On the other hand, we enjoyed the collection and commentary of the very knowledgeable guide without worrying about taking photos of the collection!

Not worth the entry fee. Interesting to see furniture made of glass but absolutely no information in the exhibition. The furniture is by a firm called F & C Osler a British firm who opened a store in Calcutta. You see their chandeliers in many of the palaces as you travel in India.
Oh and no photography allowed. Apparently they’re afraid you might go away and copy the glass furniture!

Don't see any worth paying 500 rs just for crystal artefacts. I wish I would have donated that money to support folk dance shows

Good collection of Crystal artifacts including Tables, chairs, teapoy etc. But definitely not worth spending "Rs 500" for entry ticket

It's a stunning display of crystal. You expect crockery and chandeliers but not furniture made of crystal!

And the Durbar Hall below the gallery adds to the grandeur. A must see in Udaipur

Lot's of wealth tied up in useless showmanship.

Maybe do it for free? It's just a bunch of extremely rich people's stuff. The opulence and extravagant show of wealth is offensive.
