Located on top of a small hill named Moti Magri or Pearl Hill, there is a bronze statue of Maharana Pratap riding his loyal horse Chetak. You can have a beautiful view of the surroundings from the top. There is also a small museum.

Memorial of one of the greatest warrior of India
Nov 2020
This is built in 18th Century in the memory of Maharana Pratap Singh , who is one of the greatest warrior of India. He Ruled Udaipur for about 27 years from 1572 to 1597 and lost against Mughal empires in great Haldighati War. Constructed on Moti Magri Hill which has very nice site seeing points from top of this hill.

Nothing To Do
Jan 2021
Except for the statue of Maharana Pratap, this place literally had nothing. As it is on the small hilltop, you will be charged about 300 for your vehicle apart from the entry ticket. It is just less than 1 km if you go on foot. We would suggest you park the vehicle outside and just walk up the hill. And to mention, they have a different path for those who walk and the path will be beautiful.

You can just walk up there, pay respect to the Maharana Pratap statue and click some pictures. It is not a must-visit place, but you can visit here if you had time.

Pay Your Respects to a Great Man
Mar 2020
People travel from all over the world to see Elvis Presley’s grave in Memphis, Tennessee. People should do the same for Maharana Pratap Singh. If only the world could know how good the Maharana was as a ruler, how he fought for his people and stated that if they did not eat neither would he. He lived in poverty when he had to and in luxury when he won it. A great Fighter for Freedom and a great man of the people.

Calm
Jan 2020
There are two ways to reach the top of the hill on which the Maharana Pratap Memorial is located - a winding road where vehicles can ply, & a flight of stairs. We opted for the flight of stairs; it killed our knees but we took less time.
The hilltop is calm & away from the chaos that the Udaipur lanes can be. The statue of the Maharana & his beloved horse evoke emotions of valor. The view from the top is beautiful & serene.
There is a small museum on the way down/ up that contains portraits of the different Mewari kings & other notable personalities.
