Better to visit in the evening before sunset, do boating and then click some snaps when the lights come up. Decent experience esp. for kids to take the boats near to the central fountain.

This is normal city Garden in mid of the city with Lake inside garden. As such I don't fell we should spend time for this. IF you are going on the way, then you can spend sometime here. But as per my experience no need to plan for separate visit plan

It is good in evening . All food corners around the circle and in the circle park boating is also there in night even. You should go there in the evening near about Fateh Sagar Lake. Very well maintained and good architecture.

Let me come directly to the point - I went there for street food and every single thing I tasted was HORRIBLE!
Gol Gappas were bland and had warm water in them, pav bhaji was bland and sweet, bhel poori was too sweet... and all this stuff were from different shops thinking that maybe the previous shopkeeper was not a good cook. All the shops taste the same!
The horse cart ride charges are exhorbitant. Never stepping my foot there again!

We had some good 30-40 mins at Sukhadia circle during our udaipur visit. This place has boating facility which you can enjoy with your family. Outside the circle you have many food joints which offer all kinds of food and refreshments. They also have tit bits near the boating which you can have while riding the peddle boats. We had Chana jor garam which was nice.

This place is full of night life attraction for locals. It provides all sort of activities for kids, teens, love-birds and even adults. One can do boating in the little pond, have snacks at various stalls or can even do an evening walk in the greener area around the fountain.

If you are on a short visit to Udaipur then you can skip this place. It is good for locals or those who have been to Udaipur many times and have exhausted other important attractions. There is a very small pool of water where boating facility is available and around the circle there are fast food thelas (mobile carts, though not so hygienic) so kids may like the place. The place is named after former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Mohan Lal Sukhadia who served as CM between 1954 to 1971.

Nothing much other than eating. You can find various stalls of snacks, chat pata, ice creams, milk shaked, pav bhaji, Gol Gappe or Pani Puri as in Mumbai. The area reminds me of Mumbai Chowpatty or any Khau galli or any eating street as in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Kolkatta. If you are a junk food lover and have time, visit this place in evening.

We went in the day and the evening because our guide overhyped it. The street food places are rather dirty and seem unhygienic offering very little local food, it's mostly pizza and burgers. The little pond to go paddle boating is quaint but lackluster.

This is an amazing place if there are kids around and they'd love to boat around the fountain and get a feel to be in mature in the middle of a city. Though it could be made much more cleaner.
