Great Introduction to Indian Cooking
Feb 2020
My wife and I had a lovely experience cooking with Jashoda in her own home. We agreed in advance what we wanted to make (in our case Paneer Tika Masala) and watched and learnt as she made this for us, as well as Roti and Masala tea. We ate the meal there and it was very tasty. Jashoda's brother subsequently sent us the recipe, so we will definitely replicate it. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious vegetarian lunch
Jan 2020 • Family
We prepared a delicious lunch with Jashoda in her own home - she showed us how easy it was to make chapati’s, lady’s fingers and spinach and cheese - a truly memorable experience . Highly recommended if you want an authentic cooking experience !

A lovely afternoon
Aug 2019
I had the loveliest afternoon making food with Jashoda!! Very welcoming, and a great price for what was a 1-on-1 tutorial. Would absolutely recommend. Owner of spice shop did hang around and to take pictures but I felt no pressure to purchase anything afterwards (although I think that was the idea).

Friendliest most welcoming cooking experience with Jashoda
Jashoda and her three beautiful daughters were very friendly and made me feel very welcome.

I learnt some very useful recipes and hopefully can replicate the results of the cooking class at home.

The food was excellent and I had enough to eat with some left over.

Thanks to Rajpal for organising this class with his family. A big thanks also to Krishna for waking me back to the shop. Krishna also taught me how to eat like an Indian. Thank you.

Authentic Indian kitchen experience
Great evening spent cooking in a real Indian home kitchen. We were driven to the owners home and were firstly shown how to make chai followed by two main dishes of our choice. We were then shown how to make chapatis and rice in a pressure cooker. The food was very delicious and we left with a full stomach!
Lovely family and a great experience that we recommend highly.

Cooking class with a negative connotation
Sep 2019 • Friends
You buy your ticket (800R pp)at a spice shop and the the shop owner takes you to his sisters place who is cooking for you. The food is super delicious and his sister really authentic however the owner stands nearby not getting tired to mention that you can buy the spices in his shop. Even more it’s annoying that the shop owner also is forcing you to review while you are eating.. From the moment on I said I will do it at home, he turned out to be not as friendly as he was before; If I would have reviewed him right now, maybe we’d have got the dessert which supposed to be part of the menu... So the evening ended abruptly without dessert; Instead the shop owner not even spoke a word to us when we walked back, turned out to be very disregardful. Professional behavior obviously is not his strength.. Needless to say that we didn’t receive the promised receipts...

Generally you can expect a good however perhaps an incomplete meal and also have to handle a business-oriented shop owner whose mood is depending on the review (I might would have given him a better review, if he haven’t forced me to do so....)
I think there must be far better cooking courses in Udaipur!
