Had a great trip...tried the city escape tour, and what a beautiful drive in an open jeep, with such scenic landscapes. The best part was the tea and snacks that were served besides a secluded lake. Overall a great experience.

It was a leisurely hike that offered great views of the Badi Lake, the Aravalli ranges and the whole Udaipur City. Nagaditya and Meghraj were very knowledgeable and passionate about the region. Hiking sticks were provided including light snacks and drinks. Superb experience overall! Thanks very much Excursions Udaipur! :)

Having been in a number of cities during our trip, we decided to get out and see the real India. We arranged a 4 hour jeep safari with Excursion Udaipur through our hotel. Nagaditya, met us at our hotel (Amet Haveli) and we had a short walk to the jeep as cars are not allowed down to the hotel. Nagaditya asked how long we wanted and we explained that we had no time constraints, but were expecting 3 or 4 hours. It was a restored 1948 Jeep and was very comfortable. He had a picnic basket with water, soft drinks & snacks for us. Our trip started with a tour past the lakes of Udaipur before heading out into the countryside. We saw lots of birdlife and Nagaditya was able to tell us names and details of the birds. We drove through some stunning countryside and small villages where we got a real feel on how the 21st century had not yet arrived in parts. We were able to stop where ever we wanted to get out to look / take photographs. The highlight of the trip was a walk to a reservoir where we met a friend Nagaditya who had laid out a picnic table with a sandwich lunch, snacks, cakes, tea & coffee. Over lunch we had great conversations about life in India and his goals as the company is only 2 years old. On arriving back in Udaipur, we realised we had been out for over 5 hours – how time had flown. The cost of the whole day was 4500 INR which was great value. Nagaditya is a great guide and driver with excellent English. We felt safe all day and would really recommend his company as he can arrange a variety of trips and durations.
