The lake is quite nice, unique in India. The boat ride is pleasant, nice yet not too exiting. A must thing to do in Udaipur, yet not the nicest thing India has to offer.

A must visit for a ROUND TRIP BOATING of the lake.It has excellent view of the City Palace and other surrounding areas.
The lake shimmered on the February noon we were there. You can walk the perimeter of the lake or take a boat ride in it. There seems to be a VIP ride too, which costs quite a bit. Makes for good photo-ops.
