For all your pretty handcrafted dresses, bedsheet covers, pillow covers, table runners, purses, wallets and small handmade artifacts. This place is run by a village coop, hopefully the villagers benifit from this.

Decently stocked, decent verity, good service.

Little pricy. A small drive from the main road.

Heaven for handcrafted goods

Like all dastkar haats this place was a treat. If you are admirer of handloom and handcrafted goods this is a place to be. It is filled with clothing, bags, home linens, accessories and many more items. The staff is cordial and helpful. Had a great time shopping.

Very good quality products. Wide range from kids to adults clothing to home essentials. Helpful staff. Also has courier facilities. Decently priced as well. Make sure to pick animal print for children.q

Beautiful place to shop for local handloom n handicraft

I got to know about this place from a friend of mine, & I went to check out their wares in between the jungle safaris. & I ended up buying quite a lot of stuff for friends n family. This one's a definite must visit. Their handicraft items are superb and their clothes are so good n so reasonable that u wouldn't come out of it without buying at least one item of clothing.

Quality shopping and for a cause

We visited twice and bought a range of goods. No bartering... fixed prices. Djuwalla showed us around and explained the history of this women's coop. Engaged with the women which was nice. If you want the cheapest, are not too fussed about quality or cause-based shopping (which we're not sometimes) then this probably won't suit your needs. However, we found the quality very good and prices reasonable and the cause (supporting women's economic interdependence) ticked all our boxes. After our first visit we were told by locals that it was fake etc but that's the local competition trying to get you to use them. After more research and questioning them we were sure they are legit and did more shopping. The other businesses advertising as "local women's craft" are private businesses.

Well worth a visit

Dastkar a craft enterprise run by a NGO is captivating. We visited it to check out block printing for which Rajasthan is famed, and were treated to a feast of color and well-made artifacts.Women demonstrated the art of block printing and then took us around the shop.Shawls, kurtas, bedspreads,household linen,birds of all hues - all reasonably priced and in vibrant tints. If in Ranthambore, this is truly worth a visit.

Wonderful hand made products

Well this place is a wonderful Aladdin's cave of good quality handmade products from key rings to king size bedspread...clothing for all ages and designs made by hand by local women in the community..such a fascinating project and very rewarding and reasonably priced a must to visit also has a web site but that does not do it justice...
