Ram Pole is main entrance of the fort where tickets are checked. It is just after Hanuman Pole upto where parking of limited number of vehicles is allowed. On the left side of Ram Pole one can see Ganesh Temple and Charbhuja Temple. On the right hand side of Ram Pole Vedi Temple and several other temples are there.

Ram Pole is the main entrance of the fort, where tickets are checked. Ticket counter and certain parking facility are available just outside the Ram Pol. The gate is huge and represents the great history associated with the place. Ram Pol provides first impression on the hugeness of the Fort.

Woe to an enemy facing this gate ! How on earth would you attack it ?! It is an jaw-dropping impediment, barring all who are not welcome.
If your car got this far, you can park it here, check your tickets (600rp per foreigner) and start your climb up to the palace. There are 5 more gates before you get there. But it is a memorable visit, so don't linger too long.
