this shrine was on our way to Bera from Jodphur. Just 50+ kms from Jodphur. We are very glad we stopped for a while to absorb the story and just sit for a short time under in the shade and observe the numerous pilgrims arriving by the busload. Interesting.

The story behind the Royal Enfield motorbike is very interesting and well worth a read. The temple itself is average at best. Still, a lot of people visit and pray for safe travels. Unless you're passing, I wouldn’t make it a destination.

This was a spontaneous find on our Rajasthan road-trip. We were researching for TTD between Udaipur & Jodhpur, & this popped up. Now, India has a LOT of temples but this was truly unique. It's dedicated to a local youth, Om Banna, who met with an accident & passed away. The police towed his bike from the accident site to the police station but the next morning, the bike was found back at the accident site. This happened a couple of times. It was considered divine & the site & bike were consecrated. Now a proper temple has been made where locals worship Om Banna (also called Bullet Baba) & his bike. Interestingly, alcohol is the offering made to Bullet Baba!…
