A small temple nearly 50 kms from Jodhpur where the deity is a Royal Enfield Bullet. With an interesting back story around this temple, it is a place frequented by road travellers especially bikers.

this shrine was on our way to Bera from Jodphur. Just 50+ kms from Jodphur. We are very glad we stopped for a while to absorb the story and just sit for a short time under in the shade and observe the numerous pilgrims arriving by the busload. Interesting.

The story behind the Royal Enfield motorbike is very interesting and well worth a read. The temple itself is average at best. Still, a lot of people visit and pray for safe travels. Unless you're passing, I wouldn’t make it a destination.

This was a spontaneous find on our Rajasthan road-trip. We were researching for TTD between Udaipur & Jodhpur, & this popped up. Now, India has a LOT of temples but this was truly unique.
It's dedicated to a local youth, Om Banna, who met with an accident & passed away. The police towed his bike from the accident site to the police station but the next morning, the bike was found back at the accident site.
This happened a couple of times. It was considered divine & the site & bike were consecrated. Now a proper temple has been made where locals worship Om Banna (also called Bullet Baba) & his bike.
Interestingly, alcohol is the offering made to Bullet Baba!

Went to visit when I was on the way yo Udaipur from Jodhpur. People offer flowers and wine to the God. Good religious spot must visit for all passer by via this route. After all its the belief which keeps the sentiments alive. Om bullet BABA. 🙏

Whilst the overall site is a little underwhelming, the legend behind it is quite captivating.
Unique in the fact that a motorbike is erected upon a concrete dais, surrounded by devout passers-by who stop off daily to leave offerings and pray for protection from the Motorcycle God.
Even though there is not a lot to see, this is another wonderful occasion to experience another extraordinary part of local Indian belief and once again, to be appreciated.
