We visited Mandor gardens this morning and had a nice wonder around. For you brits, this was the place featured on 'Planet Earth 2' in 2016, where locals feed the playful Langur monkeys. Take some fruit/nuts with you and you too can have a close encounter with them. The temple complex is beautiful and the architecture is mind blowing! Down... More

Picturesque garden with numerous cenotaphs of Maharajahs and Maharanis of unparalleled beauty. Passage into the garden is dotted with sellers of very sweet 'Ber' fruits, and native musicians playing excellent numbers on Sarangi. The garden houses a museum with three distinct themes, viz. archaeological, artistic and cultural. The picture gallery houses marvelous paintings of various era.The cultural gallery has very... A historical garden and monument situated 10 km from Jodhpur Railway station. It also has old temples of Hindu God and local folks do visit these temples in good numbers. Faith is foundation of Hindu Religion. Entry to this park is free, probably that the reason, not enough funds for adequate maintenance of gardens and old stone structures. I visited... More

This is my first and only visit to a jain temple. I was blown away by the architecture. I visited this place during sunset and the lighting was absolutely beautiful. The set up reminded me of Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia. The long tailed langurs were definitely part of the highlight.

Thats the beauty of the choas in India. Walked into these gardens which we felt were largely neglected, with local picnicing and trashing the place until we walked upon a temple complex with some amazing sculptures on them, intricately carved walls and ceilings. No dieties in them but the temples itself are worth checking out.

Mandore garden is situated outside 10km of the city. It offers nothing good here. Only you can see the bunch of people playing cards and smoking. Garden is also not maintained and very bad. Beware of Monkeys here.

there are some lovely Jain temples with in the gardens. If you haven't seen Monkeys in the wild, this is definitely worth a view. However, the gardens are in disrepair so you need to look past it all...
