History of chamunda temple in pushkar.....this temple is a hidden treasure in the serene surroundings of pushkar hills...it's a 2km walk from pushkar main bazaar...there are 52 shaktipeeths (power places) in India and neighboring countries.....the legend has it that the various body parts of the mother goddess fell in those places energizing them.this one is 27 th where wrists of the goddess fell.

This temple is at the end of the fort. Temple is very small but beautiful. you can view breathtaking view of the blue city from the temple area. Worth to visit the place. Aarati takes place at 7 PM daily.

Don't miss it if you are going to the Mehrangarh fort - it is a short walk at the other end. Takes about 10 extra minutes.

It is in edge of mehrangarth fort, while walking on walls of fort and till you reach to this temple you would have whole jodhpur city view from enough height.

Chamunda Mata Temple holds a strong place in the Hindu culture, located at the eastern end of the fort, a 10 mins walk from the center of fort a must visit regardless of religious aspect.

The Temple is located right on top of the fort and provides stunning views. One can see the whole city from here. However it is a long walk up. So start from the temple at sunrise and see the fort on the way down.
