Don’t hesitate for a moment to experience this authentic adventure into Indian cooking. Mamata and her sisters in law taught us how to make everything from masala tea to sweet dessert. I highly recommend that you invest in the skills you will learn over these four hours as you will take the perfect and irreplaceable skills back with you.

Most authentic cooking class and experience we’ve ever had! We felt so welcome in their beautiful home and with their family in their rural village in Jodhpur. Really appreciated them picking us up from our hotel to make it as easy as possible for us. Super fun and we learned (and ate) SO much! We prepared around 7 dishes, all unique to Rajasthan with flavors that are impossible to get anywhere else, unless you learn how to cook them, which we did! Best food we’ve had in India so far. They even catered to our vegan diets and removed ghee and paneer from some of the dishes, and still they were fantastic! 100% recommend to everyone visiting Jodhpur. Next time we want to come back and stay with them at their homestay so we can enjoy their cooking every day :)

This was amazing! We got to spend the entire afternoon with Mamata and even got to request what dishes we wanted to make! This was great becasue now we can make our favorite dishes at home! It was an extremely immersive cooking class and we did everything ourselves with some guidance. Such a fun time and good experience, I highly highly recommend. Mamata was very kind and we enjoyed our time with her!!

This experience was incredible and a must do if you're in Jodphur! We were picked up from the clock tower and taken away from the hustle and bustle to Salawas, a small village on the outskirts of the city. There we were welcomed into Chhotaram and Mamata's home to cook some authentic Indian cuisine. what made this experience special beyong measure was the fact that we were genuinely I their family home, not a tourist location that has been fabricated in order to give us a plastic experience. Whilst we cooked their children did homework, their extended family spoke to us and we were introduced to interlocked weaving, a traditional trade from the area. The food we cooked was homely and delicious, I very much intend on taking the recipes home and cooking them in England. Once the cooking had finished, we sat and had a meal with the family, something that I will treasure for a long time. This is a must do activity whilst you are in Jodphur.
