We had a wonderful afternoon cooking with Rekha in her home. She taught us the basics of cooking with Indian spice and herbs and we learnt about the types of Ayurvedic cooking and the preferred style of Sattvic cooking. We found this to be eye opening and it will surely benefit us ordering meals at restaurants in the future and making our own food. In the class we prepared and enjoyed enjoyed Chai, aloo Gobi and paneer curries, briyani and raita that we prepared with fresh ingredients. The food was some of the best we have had on our entire trip. We finished off with a delicious saffron lassi! Highly recommend this experience.

was a very fantastic experience. Anil is very polite and sweet and she really knows how to cook home meals. It’s posible to buy spices and she never push you.

The cooking class given here is simply amazing. This activity was one of the highlights of our 3 week trip in India. The couple that run the shop are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. They make you feel like a part of their family and not just a tourist or customer. The class is over 4 hours long and the food quality is delicious! Everyone gets to participate, as well. Even my 10 year old daughter was dicing vegetables and cooking rotis by herself! Also, nobody tries to push any sales and begs for tips, plus the prices for spices are excellent and there is no compromise for quality.

I cannot recommend this activity enough!! What I learned in this class has made me the star of every pot luck party I`ve been to... and I dare say, a fierce competitor to my mother in law in the kitchen!!! Her Byriani is to die for... I ate the entire plate myself in 3 minutes flat I think!!! If you`re in Jodhpur, you need to do this. Her spice mixes are also amazing, make sure you bring some home!!

We walked in to book a cooking class with 4 persons. The host and hostess where very welcoming and spoke excellent English. We were told what to expect and it was all that and more! The food was delicious and fresh. Our hostess had great knowledge of the spices and other ingredients of the curry’s, chai, rice, lassi and all other dishes. She could answer all our questions. It was like cooking with family!
