A very different experience for us. We had our private car and our hotel arranged for a guide - Mr Narendra Singh. (Phone no - 00 91 94144 94840 ) Mr. Singh is very well versed with the history and the landscape and took us to the interiors to catch a glimpse of the animals in the villages.
We then visited a community of potters and tried a hand at the pottery wheel.
Next we visited a home of traditional weavers (Prajapati community) and were amazed by the art it hand woven Durris.
All of them little stories to share and we were quite impressed by the simplicity of their lifestyles - no electronics , open cottages.
A Bishnoi home was next on the cards which was the finale of the safari.
Really recommend this trip to families who want their kids to learn about the rural India.

When we booked our day with Kailashji and Manishji for Bishnoi Village visit and Osian Desert Camel & Jeep Safari, we didn't know what to expect exactly. The day started with Manishji picking us up from our hotel, he was very courteous and is very knowledgeable about the area. Car was clean and hygienic. We explored the Bishnoi Village and also came across a lot migratory birds and black bucks and Deer on our way and during our village trip. He also made arrangements for a special ceremony for us which is usually for the international tourists.
In afternoon post lunch we drove to Osian desert and started with Jeep Safari. Trust me that was the best experience of our entire trip. The jeep ride was crazy with some breath taking moves by our Jeep driver and the view of sunset was serene. Camel ride was relaxing and fun.
Overall I would highly recommend to book with these guys for your trip to Jodhpur as they will pick the best places for you.

We had amazing experience of village safari and tours. The entire journey was eventful starting from Seberian Bird Watching, Black Bucks, Migratory Birds, Neel Gai, Deer etc. Then we saw the traditional handloom where the family is engaged in weaving of carpets since generations. Then we went to see pottery followed by wooden block printing which had good collection of bedsheets. The last point was of traditional textiles workshop s which had awesome collection. The trip ended with a traditional Rajasthani lunch with home cooked food which tasted heaven. Our daughter enjoyed the entire trip. I recommend this for all ages and particularly for kids as they learn more about our traditions. The owners Deepak ji and Dhanraj ji are so courteous and tourist friendly. I will recommend them to my friends and family.

It was one of the best experience of my life. Deepak who hosted this tour has a remarkable experience in this field and he made sure that his guest get best out of this tour. We were taken to the Bishnoi village where they explained their way of life and also received us with their welcome ceremony. Then we were taken Potter house where we could get our hands dirty tring to make the pots ourselves and also they showed block printing technology. We could see Siberian cranes, blackbucks, nilgay and many other exotic animals on the route. And then we went to a beautiful houses where the artisans make double sided carpet which are hand woven. It's an art that is fading in this modern era. After which as a bonus we were taken to a antique collection store and recycled cloth place which was quite magical with it's collection.
We ddnt have any intention of shopping when we started our tour but we ended up lot of stuffs in the end. So it's a great tour for people who loved to shop or collect very authentic stuffs. So all in all we recommend this tour so much to anyone visiting Jodhpur and wants to have something different and unique.

We had a wonderful experience with Deepak on this tour. He came across as a very knowledgeable guide who took utmost care of our comfort and ensured that we made the most out of the whole safari adventure. We got the opportunity to stop multiple times through the drive for bird and deer watching and were offered binoculars to get a better view. Another thing that stood out while we were with him is that he was never pushy or didn't try to convince us to make unnecessary purchases, which usually turns out to be the case with most other guides. Overall, I would highly recommend his tour as you do get a real experience of the village and exposure to different facets.

One of the best things to experience in Jodhpur. The tour explored various facets of the community, from sighting native fauna and flora like the black buck and the ker-sangri trees and bushes, to engaging with the local craftspeople who are keeping their traditional crafts of block-printing, weaving and pottery alive. We got the chance to interact with these people, appreciate their work, and shop locally. The guide was hospitable with authentic knowledge about the culture, tradition and ecological context of the area. A great attempt at preserving the essence of the Bishnoi community!

The real hidden gem! A must for all visiting Jodhpur. An informative, depicting true Rajsthani rural culture of hard working people. Seen plenty gazels, nilgai and dancing peacocks, experienced dhurri making, clay crafting, block printing processes. The best quality items were purchased by us at very reasonable rates. Sh. Dhanrajbhai, a knowledgable, humble person showed the inner beauty of Rajashthan. The dinner offered by him is the most cherished moment of our lives. Felt nice to see the family promoting local Marwari Horses, having a good collection of Jeeps and contributing local economy development. Thoroughly enjoyed drive of 70 km circuit in 1957 Williys, just outskirts of Jodhpur, operated by genuinely honest Sh Dhanraj bhai. A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TOUR.

What an experience ! This tour was so precious, recommend everyone around Jodhpur to escape the hectic city for a day and find peace with this tour.
We saw wildlife, visited local families and enjoyed homemade food. We even could do our own pottery! What else to say, super happy with the tour. Support the locals here and especially the crafts they create it’s pure art. 100% recommended.

It was not my first visit to Jodhpur but every trip i land up doing something differentband memorable.
The Safari was an impromptu decision based on my conversations with locals at hotel .
And I must say I had a blast and would highly recommend it.
The start itself was a exciting seeing a 1960s Wiley - Safari vehicle
Ranveer picked me up in 1960s Wiley and drive was thrill in the vintage left hand drive jeep.
Ranveer is great host and had wonderful local folklore and lots of stories about the place and its history to share . I gathered he and his family are very passionate about their work and love to show tourists around and enjoy meeting new people over interesting conversations.
I was taken around some villages ,we interacted with most warm village people.
We visited a local artisan who makes hand woven dhurries/ carpets which requires lot of patience , effort to get one single piece completed.
We also visited to village Potter at his place and that was highlight of safari
The Potter is super humorous and gem of person and very talented at his art of pottery . His wife also takented has got most beautiful smile
Their home looked so pretty with her lovely hand paintings on exterior of house.
He has some great collection of hos pottery work from.mugs, lamps , wall pieces, plenty of souvenirs to take back home for family and friends
Had a most amazing time with them .
We also visited in our way back a export manufacturing unit which was very interesting .
So while this was a village safari i got talking tonRanveer on local authentic home cooked food and he mentioned that they could arrange that too at their place .
As I had not planned it in advance .. so couldn't do it this time but there's always a next time
I highly recommend this Safari .:)

Tiene interés el pasar 3/4 horas desde jodhpur?
Es turístico y se espera principalmente el que compres?
Tiene interés etnográfico?
Cuánto puede costar ir con guía? Merece la pena ir por libre?
Gracias por tu colaboración
