Mister Gemar Singh created a great tour: we were picked up by jeeps at our hotel in Jodhpur and via the Jaïn temple made our way to the desert where camels were waiting for us. After an exciting camel ride while the sun was setting,...More

Hello. I booked my trip to Hacra through Villageways. While I am sure you can book direct, you would find Villageways a very reliable and economical way of stacking up a tailor made programme (as I did). Villageways is an excellent, sustainable tourism company based in India, but with UK connections and support.
If you want to drop me an email, I can send you some photos of Hacra
There is no bath. A toilet room is fine, and adjacent a sink with running, solar warmed water. The shower didn't work when I was there, but a jug and bucket sufficed to sluice over you. Its not luxury, but it is certainly clean and manageable enough for a short stay and to be honest, it fits well with the whole experience of a very enjoyable, remote and authentic home stay. I'd suggest 2-3 days if you can. Probably no more than that. Its a slow pace of life, but there's enough to do for 2-3 days
