From the moment we met Bantu, the owner of Walk to BlueCity Heritage Tours we knew we were going to be in good hands. He guided us through the history of the blue city with consummate ease, answering our many questions and introducing some of the hidden treasures of the blue city we would not have discovered on our own. Bantu is thoroughly professional, knowledgable and a delight to be in the company of. An excellent tour and an excellent guide. …

The tour with Bantu was absolutely worth it! I travel alone and as a woman I felt very comfortable with him. I usually avoid touring because most of them are not very worthwhile. But Bantus is worth the money! Bantu is very professional, has a broad knowledge of Jodhpur and India and has come up with a wonderful tour of the Blue City with nice spots for photos. Not too long, not too short and the whole thing connected with sympathetic lightness. Absolute recommendation! …

Review of: walk to bluecity heritage tour
An excellent introduction to the marvellous blue city. Bantu, a knowledgeable and engaging Jodhpur local who’s passion for his city and it’s architecture makes this a great way to find your feet in what can be an overwhelming experience on your own. Bantu will take you through beautiful and peaceful street and share stories and knowledge of Jodhpur with you. He has excellent communication skills, his English was very easy to understand - his love for his city (if you don’t already love it) is highly contagious. Join him for a walk to see Jodphur from a locals perspective. …

Review of: walk to bluecity heritage tour
We did the morning walk with Buntu and really enjoyed it. We had a very limited time in Jodhpur and this tour is a great way to get a little introduction into the significance of many things you may pass by without understanding or noticing. We began our tour at 8:30 and Buntu kindly met us at our Guesthouse which was a nice touch. Navigating the small streets early in the morning can be difficult so that was great. Buntu was very passionate about the city and shared so much of his knowledge with us through the tour allowing us to stop and take lots of photos along the way. We also stopped off for a local chai that I guarantee you will not be able to find without him. We finished our tour with samosas to die for. Really good local food, so good we went bavk for seconds. We leave Jodhpur feeling we have got to know the city after our tour with Buntu. Highly recommended doing this on your first day in Jodhpur if possible.…

If you're looking for a way to get your bearings in the labyrinth of the Blue City, you need look no further than Bantu's insightful, friendly, illuminating walking tour. My wife and I loved getting to know Jodhpur through the eyes of a lifelong resident who is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about his hometown, while also being welcoming and hospitable to people from faraway lands. After the nearly 3 hours we spent with Bantu, we felt much more at home in this beautiful place and were excited to explore more. Plus, he introduced us to the best chai and samosas in town! Yum! A word of warning: this ambitious walking tour covers a lot of ground, so make sure you're prepared for almost 3 hours of walking, including some steep climbing. It's well worth it for the experiences you'll have and the memories you'll take away! Not to be missed! P.S. As of December 2019, Bantu doesn't have a website, but if you email him via TripAdvisor, he's very responsive and will get back to you with all the details right away.…
