We did not stay long here as we visited it on our way out. There isn't much to look at as such except a tranquil lake and peaceful location. We were lucky it was not inundated with tourist when we arrived.

Ranisar and Padamsar / Ranisagar and Padamsagar are two twin lakes which are interconnected and situated within the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur.

The lakes are huge and one can pass several moments sitting beside it.

The serenity is inviting and gives a good feeling. Cleanliness and signboards to guide tourists to the lake from the Blue City can be however put up since the path or approach is not that clear if one doesn't have knowledge of the city or is native to the city.

Definitely recommend a visit to these lakes alongside the fort and the rock garden (Rao Jodha) - visits can be connected.

Both lakes contain small amount of water which i dont think is used for drinking purpose. I was able to locate both the lakes during my visit to Mehrangarh Fort.
