This place is worth the visit. Try to visit the area in morning and ask your tour guide to arrange camel cart if you want to see Great Indian bustard from near.

It is beautiful to watch vast stretch of sand. This dunes are not polluted as they are in sam dunes. Travel in groups to avoid any issues. Meet forest guard before 8 Am and book a camel cart to visit it from inside.

Visited during peak summer. The desert is huge and if you on a camel, you could see desert for miles together with no end to the sand. Watched a deer.

Persuaded to go on this trip to the sand dunes by camel and it was not really worth the effort, as I found the sunset over the dunes is ruined by power lines across the desert and permanent tented camps. Do not waste your time...More
