The usual charm of any holy shrine you find across India, the approach is bustling with stalls selling mostly puja-materials, toys, house-hold staff. The shrine is also busy with devotees thronging from all parts of Rajasthan and rest of the country chanting Baba's name. I also heard that in September there is a nice fair surrounding this holy shrine.

People walking - some even barefoot for hundreds of kms in that hot weather to reach the temple and see Baba Ramdev was just beyond our belief! We didn't see the temple but visited the mela in the night just to see what was going on and got to experience rural Rajasthan!

The day we visited there was a huge rush of devotees. The village situated about 12 km to the north of Pokhran in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan in India and can be visited along with Visit to Pokhran Fort. The village is named after Baba Ramdevji, a Tanwar Rajput and a saint who took Samādhi in 1384
