A collection of domed cenotaphs too many to count make a nice destination at sunset. If you are lucky you will get to see wedding shoots there that match bollywood in colour and content. Worth the short trip out of the town

This is located about 12 km from Jaisalmer city. This is basically a cremation ground for Royal family. There is an entry fee of 100 Rs per person and 100 INR for mobile phone which i dont think is justified. Good location for photography.

Bada Bagh is a must go if you are keen on good photography sessions and some quiet moments watching the horizon. The sunset offers a splendid view. Exquisite carvings on chhatris will remind you of a bygone era.

A place situated away from Jaisalmer city. You must visit this place in the evening where you can have a view of sun set. Day time visit is not advisable due to heat.

No I don't think so, but it's not very far. Too far to walk, mind you. It takes half an hour or so in a car, if I remember rightly. You see some interesting things on the way, too. I just asked at my guest house and one of... More
