A superb structure. You need a guide to walk you through the streets of the fort. Many people live here unlike other forts. Great views. Walk around the streets outside the fort.

This is the beautiful ancient fort claimed to be more than 800 years old. It is totally surprised living fort. People lives here. It is really the Golden fort and golden city.

We visited Jaisalmer in april and it was 42 degrees in the day and around 30 at night.. I would advise to not go during July ... choose the cooler months so that you have a good experience ..

The fort Longewala post - 120 kms ahead of Jaiselmer. The drive is just so beautiful. Also, you can go to see the India - Pak border which is another 30-35 kms ahead of Longewala. This needs prior permission from BSF(the... More

DON'T !!!! Street dogs may attack him. also entry not allowed inside the Inner ramoarts and restaurants.
