Shri Laxminathji Temple is is one of the oldest temples of Bikaner. The shrine was built by Maharaja Rao Lunakaran to worship Lord Vishnu. Red stone for the temple was imported from Jaisalmer. The idols are very beautiful. Another highlight is the splendid art-work in silver on the doorway. Shri Laxminath temple celebrates festivals like Diwali, Janmashtami, Ramnavam, Geeta Jayanti¸ and Nirjala Ekadashi, with huge fervor and enthusiasm.

Shri Laxminath temple is a beautiful ancient temple located in the old part of city of Bikaner. The temple is located at a slight high ground and one gets a very nice view of the entire city of Bikaner from the temple. The temple premises were very well maintained and we had very good darshan of the Lord Laxminath during our visit.
