This stupa is reachable by road and well maintained. The best part of this visit is the light and sound show in the evening... The fees is just Rs.25... The story of Ashoka and his embracing of Buddhism is well explained in this show

I visited in oct 2016. Nice natural surroundings and great view of the city from top of the dhauli hill. The light show on the dhauli stupa is incredible. Two shows per day. I had to pay full amount of tickets for two kids as i dint knew without showing student id you have to pay full ticket for kids... More

It is a very attractive Buddhist temple situated at Dhaulagiri Hills.There are so many statues of Lord Buddha in various styles showing many "mudras".The external look of temple is very attractive.About thousand of visitors come every day here .

This is a place to visit if u are around bhubneshwar Hills are pretty high on which ashoka stup is made and having a view of place where ashoka last bettle was taken place.

The drive was a beautiful green forest. Mid serenity , no rush .. calm atmosphere. Couple can sit around alone and have a nice time pass. Can have a good photo session also...
