This is a very old temple! You don't need to be a 'meditator' to feel the power of this temple. It has two entrances ample parking space, ample space to be seated inside. Very calming.. must experience. If it was close to where I live, I would've visited it frequently.

Located right in the middle of one of the busiest location, this temple is super peaceful inside. Build during Peshwa regime, there is a beautiful Shiv lingam. The temple is premises is surrounded with huge trees. Even though it might be hot and humid outside, the temple from inside is cool. A cool breeze in the temple, rejuvenates your mind. The flower vendor outside the temple have a lot of fresh flowers & a soothing smell from those fresh flowers will definitely tempt you to buy some of those flowers from them. Overall its a really good experience.

This is a famous temple in Pune situated on the Karve Road. The place is easily accessible. The beautiful Shiva Linga in the sanctum of the temple is the main attraction here. Devotees believe that this entire area is having the presence of Lord Shiva. The beautiful garden around the temple is yet another turn on.

This is located at Karve Road, Pune which is busiest route (and also most polluted) in Pune. But still this temple manages to retain its own existence because of rich heritage culture of Pune. Temple is surrounded with lot of trees and garden. It has beautiful Shiv Linga and a relatively big sabha mandap. Routes of this temple take you back to the golden days of Peshwas. Lot of cultural events including classical programs are organized here which adds on keeping this area very busy. The temple is easily accessible and all public / private commutation options are available to reach there. This temple is a landmark of this area.

I came to know about this Temple from my mother who had read it in a Tamil Magazine three days back.
The Temple dates back to early 19th Century, during Peshwa times. This was constructed with an intention of giving to a daughter as part of Marriage gift.
Temple premises is very clean and neat. You can sit and enjoy the serenity undisturbed.
Temple is at Kothrud (Pune). From Pune station by own vehicle or an auto it will take 20 minutes ( without traffic). If you take a Bus from Pune bus station, it will take 30-35 minutes approx. You have to ask for Maruti Mandir stop, After getting down at Maruti Mandir it will take two minutes of walk to Shri Mrutyunjayeshwar Temple.
