Its a local and famous open street market, you can get varieties of stalls, vegetables, fruit and and other vendor shops in this market. Quality of the products/items were fresh and plenty of options available in this market. Overall a good experience.

The building is old and not in good conditions, but it is possible to see the original sctructure; it is crowdy but it is nice to see salesmen/women offering their vegetables seating on high position to measure the weight and deal. A lot of various vegetables.

Even though the market is big, it was crowded and messy. the shopkeepers were a bit rude and did not attend to us properly.

The covered market is breathtaking, all the produce glisteningly fresh and beautifully displayed. Such huge variety, too. Interesting outdoor markets as well, particularly the row of stalls with items for puja. There's a charming and not too crowded Ganesh temple by one of the market entrances, well worth wandering up a little to the left of the temple to the stalls selling baskets and the like.
