Ganapati temple built by the Marathas
Feb 2020
The temple was built in 18th Century by the Maratha king. It houses a beautiful statue of Lord Ganesha. The temple is well maintained. The deity is deemed to be all powerful and hence the temple is very famous and crowded. Hence plan well in advance keeping few hours dedicated for darshan here.

Serene Ganesha
Mar 2020
Set in sylvan surrondings of Saras Baug lake and garden, this tiny Ganesha is very peaceful and welcoming. Apparently, a deity who fulfills wishes - SiddhiVinayaka - has made his abode in a brick red temple which stands out in the green garden and lake teeming with fish, water birds, turtles, etc.

Iconic place
Feb 2019
Another legendary, historic and iconic place of Pune. Good for a family and friends visit.

Parking is a big big issue here.

Many cheap eat options available around here. Visit of around 1-2 hours should be sufficient.

Place for Devotees
Nov 2019
This is a Temple of Ganesh, the elephant god of India. Worth visiting for devotees. Some small garden is around.
Long back this place used to be in the lake, not well maintained. Now, it is a garden, with constructed water channel around.
The temple is historical, but not very great to visit
