The long walk upto the temple felt like a proper pilgrimmage! Though it was stuffy inside the temple(we did not enter the actual premises) the glimpse of the small ganpati idol was more than inspiring & devotional. Good one-time experience!

Feel the calm at the mandir. Not more but ill say 'Dagdusheth Ganesh'ji defines Pune', During Ganeshotsav, it is crazy crowded. Recommend visiting the mandir earlyin the morning for 7am aarti.

From Airport it may take about an hr. and half depends on traffic. But still is just 15-16 kms from there. Its on a very busy street so be sure that you plan accordingly. When you enter in Pune from Nagar Road. Please ask... More
