A must visit during Monsoon. A 3 hours journey from Pune . The awesome waterfall , Mist and wonderful place for those who love Monsoon and want to get drenched. Hot Tea and Indian fritters is added interest. There is MTDC tourist lodge and other places to stay if you want to stay and enjoy for a day or two.

An evergreen spot for our family, we've been coming here for a very long time & as usual, the beauty here makes us keep coming back every time. Malshej is definitely a perfect destination for a family who wish to have a day out & for people who love being in the midst of nature.

I had visited this place in last August. It was like heaven in monsoon season. When you enter this place it is fog everywhere and you feel that you are in some different world.Great experience all together. Some areas are risky during rainy season because stones get loose and fall down.Or else place is very beautiful and you can enjoy nature here.

This is a perfect place for all waterfall lovers. It has quite a number of waterfalls next to each other which also makes it slightly dangerous. It is overcrowded by tourists during rainy season and is actually a ghat which has ongoing traffic. Cops keep patrolling throughout the area to ensure safety parameters are being maintained. You can park your... More

The Place is really amazing, specially if you travel during monsoon. You can get a mesmerizing view of the location during monsoon. Throughout the way you will get to see lots of waterfalls. On the top of hill you can see the reverse waterfall, where water defies gravity (that has a science in background). Floating clouds on the hills and... More

We visited in early July and had a fantastic experience. Low hanging clouds, waterfalls at every corner and stupendous valley views. Try the hot smoked bhuttas from the roadside joints - a treat on a cold rainy day. The MTDC restaurant and hotel is a good stopover for lunch and the bio break although the ambience and food is average.... More

you can stay at the mtdc house, if you find a vacancy. The road and drive/ride is amazing and can be quite difficult at times thanks to the monsoon showers if you go during the season. The water fall is allright and the views of the valley are nice.

Very much aware about Malshej being a go to destination for Rainy season, but did not expect it to be an astounding place even in the winters. Visited Malshej towards Jan end and was certainly captivated but the beauty put forward by the mountainous terrain. Temperature were absolutely manageable and did not feel a bit of heat even in the... More
