Shivaji Maharaj being a hero of the Maratha empire and Sinhagad being one of his accomplishments, visiting this fort was one of a proudest experience. Though not maintained like all the forts but one visit I a lifetime is deserved.

Sinhgad Fort is very simple and hardly people will count it as trekking. There is a base point till which you can take your car (a point which spoil the fun of the walk... More

Awesome place... Must go during rainy season ... would remind you of Munnar (Kerala). If you could, travel by bike ... the fresh air around Sinhagad would compel you come for more :)
