Quite a serene and a challenging experience. The pinnacle of Maratha empire and I was awe struck by the grandiose plan & execution. Overall a filling experience.

In the rainy season, especially when it is raining, the ropeway crosses a waterfall and you have a mesmerizing view of the waterfall. You must visit this place once if you have even a little interest in history.

Hi , You can reach to the base of Rajgad fort by Car but you will have to climb up to the top. No option as of now :)

Hi Chaithanyach, You need to reach to Swargate bus depot in Pune first. Then take a State Transport (ST) bus to Gunjawane (which is the base village for Rajgad). It will take around 1 and half to 2 hours to reach to base... More

you go by swargate bus stand from Pune. from swargate you get bus for nasarapur. first bus is @ 7 am & last is 8 pm. from pune its just 1 and half hour.
