Pune's first Children's Museum! It packs in 8,500 sq. ft. of awesomeness for kids of all ages - from 6 months to 15 years old. Across 7 zones, little ones can play with science-based exhibits (air and water flow), explore a fascinating fort, build cool stuff with huge blocks, pretend to be chefs or doctors, create art masterpieces or make some groovy music!

What a Place.... Literally Amazing in every sense. Right from the start this place grab you and Kids. Staff is there to explain all activities and and science concept behind it. Ground floor doesn't gives you a impression that how big area they have covered and how many activities are there.

Do Yourself a favor visit this place at earliest and watch your kid unwind there in all the activities. This is place actually helps to see them things from totally different view.

A Must Must Visit...

Amazing Amazeum

Its a late post relating to last month ie Dec 2019.
It was my daughter's 5th birthday and we were thinking of a good place which will be more of an entertainment for kids than adults. We shortlisted some venues with a thought of arranging play area ourselves or even some engagement activities or game zones.
I actually called the Pavillion mall information desk to enquire about a game zone and I was introduced to this most amazing place "Amazeum"
Excellent theme based learning for kids. It not only engages kids but also associates the fun element with learning. The focus on enhancing knowledge along with entertainment pr play is surely luring.

What's the best part of this place?
i) The staff - cant stop thanking them enough for being kind, supportive and engaging the kids all the time. I would specifically mention Sanket here who has not only been an excellent staff but also is a wonderful human. Some adults (sr citizens) were finding it difficult to take the steps to reach the actual floor where the set up is. Sanket made some special arrangements to ensure they can reach comfortably and ensured he is available throughout the evebt for us. Anytime we needed an enquiry he would just manage to be there for us despite handling the main desk for other regular visitors. He also was available till the end to guide us on the charges, complete the billing formalities quickly as kids were tired and also be there with our parents to drop them safely till the parking zone. I wonder anyone would ever go out of their way reflecting this kind gesture. Thanks a lot Sanket. All of us surely have and will always shower our blessings on you ! Great efforts and lovely team.
ii) Hygiene - I have often witnessed in other such similar play zones the lack of focus on hygiene. But Amazeum far excels in this aspect too. The props and the entire play zone is very well maintained with good quality. Even with considerably good no of people, it will never lack in the hygienic aspect. The washrooms also are v well maintained and hence its surely a plis point to take yr kids or family here.
iii) Party section - This is the best place for small gatherings or birthdays esp. Kids just enjoy being themselves, they are safe and the party hall is very cosy nicely split from the play section which can put the host at an ease. You can have your privacy despite the common regular visitors who aren't a part of your guest list. Infact people wont even reakise there is a party section right at the play zone unless you enquire. Hence no peeping toms and privacy maintained to core !
iv) Cooling or air conditioning - was simply superb. We never felt congested or suffocated even with huge crowd around. It was very well placed and the temperature was always set to a good level comforting all of us
v) Food - Sassy Spoon cafe serves extremely good lip smacking food. Ashish from Sassy Spoon joins the "phenomenal staff" category like Sanket. He will not only guide you on the dishes that could be liked by kids and adults based on his experience but will also be genuine and transparent on his views expressed freely. I just blindly trusted Ashish and finalised the menu as well the cake per his recommendations. And trust me - it was super fabulous. The guests appreciated all the arrangements, food quality, taste over and again. Also, though it was a buffet served, the food items were really hot, fresh and refilled appropriately without any gaps. We never had to wait or prompt the staff for refilling the food items.
All in all - a lovely experience and would definitely recommend this place to all for birthday parties & family celebrations.

PS - my daughter is eagerly waiting for her next birthday so she gets a chance to celebrate here with her friends :)

I visited this place with my six year old only because my wife wanted me to. This place is totally worthless and a waste of money . There are no activites worth mentioning . The people over there were not at all explaining the activites . Instead i would say just go for a movie and spend your money . I also told the manager over there that it is overpriced and not at all worth the 💰 so please please avoid this place and don't get ripped off by these people . They take 749 for 1 hr but we could see everything in 45 mins. I suggest spend your money in star Bazaar opposite pavillion or go to food court and spend it on something useful .i would rate this place a zero if it was there

Dear Laxman, We completely respect your point of view but we wanted to explain our philosophy to you. A Children's Museum as a concept that is extremely new to India and we understand that we will have people who love it and people who don't. Just to break down your feedback: 1) "There are no activities worth mentioning"- We have a whole range of activities for kids right from elements which are science based, art, building, role playing and physical play and each of them have been built with a lot of thought so that they are hands on and experiential for kids. The museum has been inspired by the various Children's Museum that we have visited in the US. We were extremely blown away by the concept and wanted to start one in Pune. We collaborated with a Children's Museum in the US so that we could build something of those standards. It is a pure passion project for us and we feel extremely encouraged with all the positive feedback that we get. Most people who visit us from the US are absolutely impressed with the kind of activities and the attention to detail that we have put in at Amazeum and say that it is on par with the children's museum that they have visited in the US. 2) "The people over there were not at all explaining the activities"- We have many sign boards in the museum which explain how to play with the exhibit and also the Science of it with real life examples (in very simple terms). We really hope that going forward, we encourage our kids to explore independently and be open to making mistakes. But we do have play facilitators on the floor who have been trained to explain when asked and also show kids the basics of how to play. They have been specifically told to NOT INSTRUCT THE CHILD AS IT IS AGAINST OUR CORE BELIEFS AND VALUES. In any case, we have shared this feedback with the play facilitators. They definitely need to help children who need it. Having said that, Most of our exhibits are extremely intuitive and we really want children to try things on their own. I think kids these days are constantly given instructions at home, school, classes etc. We wanted to create an environment where they can explore, imagine and discover on their own- essentially encourage FREE PLAY! :) Just to give you an example: You must have seen the bubble tower exhibit that we have. For more than a month after we started, we would stand in the middle and pull the role to make a 7 feet tall bubble around us- which was great. But one fine day, when our play facilitator was walking by, he saw huge bubbles coming out of the bubble area. On further investigation, he saw an 8 year old girl standing in the middle, making a 7 feet tall bubble around her and blowing into it which resulted in big spherical bubbles being made. We were absolutely amazed! It had been a month since we opened and we were not even aware of the possibility TILL THAT LITTLE GIRL visited the museum. We can give you many many more such examples at every exhibit of ours whether it is the water works, the art exhibits or even the role playing section. The kind of conversations, questions and things that children create is extremely interesting and unique and it has totally stumped us and the parents who accompany them. 3) "They take 749 for 1 hr but we could see everything in 45 mins"- Children's Museums have been designed for kids to explore and try different approaches. We have seen kids spending 30-45 mins sometimes at one exhibit because they are busy trying various possibilities. It is really not about 'seeing' everything. We had a bunch of kids who spent 7 hours at the museum 2 days back! We have so many people taking day passes where both parents and kids spend time exploring every exhibit in great detail. We can give each child a list of things to do at each exhibit but we have to steered away from that since it is not what we believe in. We believe that if we let kids be, they will come up with extremely interesting creations (which we probably don't even think of) and that is when innovation happens! :) We genuinely understand if you and your child did not enjoy at the museum. Each one of us are built differently and may have different interests. We really really love what we have created and think it has great value! I hope you understand our point of view too. Warm Regards Praveena Team Amazeum

Indoor kids play area for toddlers to young adults till age 16. This place combines basic science and fun. All the games are well designed and my kids absolutely loved playing those. Some are role plays and others are design games. Very well thought out.
The overall place is clean and tidy. Upkeep is good. Food / meals are available inside, for kids as well as for adults.
The supervisors of the place are helpful and non-intrusive.
A must visit place for natives as well as visitors to Pune. We can easily spend half a day here.

I visited Amazeum with my 7-year-old daughter and I’m very excited to share my experience -

Passing through the entry turnstile, we entered ‘Einsteins Lab’ which had science exhibits like the magnetic roller coaster, air pressure exhibits, etc. A simple and interactive way to understand some basic principles of science.

Science experienced, she then proceeded to wiggle through a huge wall to reach the upper level. (Who needs stairs 😊)

Now the upper level is just WOW! And it’s massive! And it lets your kids experience things on their own. Very interactive this place!
I’ll avoid spoiler’s cos you have to experience it for your own.

The water works exhibit was really popular with the kids.
My daughter absolutely loved the pretend play area where she got to be a chef, a mechanic, a doctor, a nurse, a shop-owner and a customer.

The bubble tower area was a massive hit with my daughter and her friends. Show me a kid who doesn’t love bubbles!! (show me an adult too for that matter)

The Fort area was just spectacular. We here in Maharashtra have a thing for forts! And our kids do too. This fort has secret tunnels(I managed to chase my daughter through one), impressive ramparts and a super slide down from the top down to the wall climbing area.

The construction zone, with 3 levels, is designed really well. Almost wish my house had a top floor like this one.
We channelled our inner artist by painting a glass wall and then arranging colourful magnetic tiles.
The building blocks were used to make another (much smaller) fort. We just like forts!

Few points which deserve a special mention : -
1.The area is spacious, clean, well lit and the temperature inside is well maintained.
2.Much appreciation for the fact that no cheap plastics were used.
3.The Sassy spoon café inside Amazeum served delicious food
4.Washrooms are located in the museum which is most convenient
5.The staff is well trained, polite & eager to engage kids in the given activity
6.Age no Bar! I thoroughly enjoyed all the exhibits myself.

Amazeum offered something Special to me which is rare in today's crazy hectic life. It gave me an opportunity to play and interact with my daughter Without any Distractions. It was a Thrill to see my daughter's eyes lit up when she explored something NEW or made an UNEXPECTED Discovery.

Amazeum is Beautiful Amalgamation of learning, exploring, discovering and playing.
On our first visit we spent 4 hours in Amazeum, so the question is will we be coming back for more and the answer is, YES OF COURSE, cause there is still so much left to Discover, Play and Learn.
