My aspirations of becoming a wild life photographer lead me to The Territory. My recent trip with them to Bhandavgarh was my first time shooting in the wild. It was an absolutely amazing experience as I was able to fall in love with my craft as well as learn alot from The Territory team.

I am addicted to Jungles. Jungle heals me and nurtures my soul. This year I was planning for Ranthambore and came to know about The Territory through a friend. It took me less than 5 minutes to decide that my Ranthambore trip has to be with The Territory. I have visited quite a few jungle but this was by far the best I experienced.
From welcoming us at the station to seeing us off at Jaipur, everything was planned perfectly by Karan. He ensured that our stay was pleasant and as unique as possible. The hotel was beautiful, quiet and very peaceful making it a perfect place to relax and disconnect. I really liked Karan’s engagement for wildlife preservation and respect for the local flora and fauna.
Karan’s nature spotting skills were first class and with the best of guides and drivers in the safaris we saw a lot in the time we were there including: 7 tigers at their best and private times, sloth bears, hyena, many other animals, a plethora of birds, lizards, reptiles and insects!! Karan was extremely friendly, caring and very flexible. He ensured that we got absolutely everything that we wanted to get out of our time in the jungle.
Had a truly magical and unforgettable time. The Territory did their best to make sure we were having a fantastic time.
I would deeply recommend Karan and The Territory if you are looking for a an authentic and adventurous wildlife experience while respecting the surrounding nature!

I got to know about The Territory from a friend and when I actually travelled with them, I got much more than I expected. They not just provide an end-to-end wildlife experience but even customises it as per the need of the hour.
I recently travelled to the Ranthambore National Park with The Territory and the experience was amazing. A big shout out to Karan who ensured that we not just see the tigers but be witness to the rarest of sightings - mating of tigers in the core jungle. Apart from that, we have spotted many tigers, 7 in total, along with other animals, birds, and reptiles. The 3 nights 4 days trip was jam-packed with safaris and knowledge sharing sessions that would not just enrich your wildlife knowledge but can make you fall in for wildlife. Thank you Karan and The Territory team for making wildlife trips so much enriching and interesting.

As this was our first tiger safari, we were put onto the Territory & Karan by a very knowledgeable friend. We spoke to Karan and he advised us to do Kanha. He planned our trip painstakingly knowing we were travelling with 2 kids. He organized the trip exceptionally well right from meeting us personally at Nagpur Airport and driving us to Kanha. A wealth of knowledge about the flora and fauna of the area began at the start of our journey from the airport.
From the choice of hotel to our drivers on the safari, Karan ensured we had the best experience Kanha had to offer. He stressed that the tiger sighting should not be our only objective but rather we should focus on the entire ecosystem that Kanha has to offer. Along with the guides and drivers Karan proceeded to educate us on every facet of this wonderful forest and this made our trip something to truly remember. The Tiger sightings on our trip were the highlight but the other animal sightings were as much appreciated, the Spotted Deer, Barasingha, Jackal, Indian Gaur, wild boar and various birds were all beautiful to see roaming free in one of the most pristine forest environments. A small point worth noting is that Karan educated us on the various clues that help in spotting a tiger, from the monkey and deer calls to looking for fresh pug marks, finding these clues just builds the excitement in spotting the big cat.
Karan not only focuses on the safaris but also on the conservation efforts of the forest dept. for not only the tiger but other animals as well. He informed us about how the local people are involved in the Conservation efforts…how they are drivers, guides, forest workers, etc. The fact that entire villages were moved out of the protected areas highlights the immense sacrifice made by the people to save the tigers. We were humbled by the fact that, in some small way, our monetary contribution to the Kanha Wildlife sanctuary was also helping to save this amazing ecosystem.
We are forever changed by our experience at Kanha. Our kids have an idea of what it takes to protect these amazing forests and everything that lives in them. They will (hopefully) protect and preserve in whatever way they can, the rich flora and fauna India has been blessed with…that is the amazing message ‘Territory’ leaves you with.

An overall lovely experience to say the least. The trip was well organised and stress free. All one has to do it sit back and enjoy!! We were fortunate to have witnessed 4 tigers in our trip all thanks to Karanraj Mehta and his fabulous team of guides. Always a great pleasure to travel with The Territory. Kudos to Karan!! Keep it up!!

It was an extraordinary trip to the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve with The Territory, led by the exceptional host and organizer, Mr. Karan. From beginning to end, the journey was nothing short of wonderful. Upon arrival in Jaipur, Karan personally greeted us at the airport and even accompanied us on the return trip back to the airport.
Over the course of 4 days, we embarked on 5 breathtaking safaris, each offering its own unique charm and beauty. As a first-time safari goer, I was thoroughly captivated by the experience. Our safaris were graced with the presence of no less than 5 tigers, and we were also mesmerized by the vast landscapes that the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve had to offer.
Throughout the journey, Karan was a knowledgeable and attentive guide, providing us with insightful lessons on the jungle, tigers, landscapes, local culture, cuisine, and much more. During our free time, he also shared educational documentaries to further deepen our understanding of the safari and the jungle. On the final day of our trip, Karan even administered a test to gauge what we had learned during the trip.
I was truly overwhelmed by the beauty of Ranthambore and grateful to have met a host like Karan. I am confident that this will not be my last visit to Ranthambore, and I look forward to another journey with The Territory team and Karan.

This super positive review is for the team 'The Territory' and Mr. Karanraj Mehta for arranging an unforgettable trip to Kali Tiger Reserve and Dandeli, Karnataka.
It was really a different and extra ordinary experience.
It was a 'firsts' kind of experience for me in terms of different parameters.
Karanraj has a great knowledge and handhold of wild life safaris
Inspite of his hectic schedule and back to back trips, he was always proactive and on his toes.
The whole itenerary and all arrangements including travel, hotel stays, food were up to the mark.
I have already made up my mind for future trips with 'The Territory'

A big thanks to The Territory for organizing such a adventurous camp for us during 15th to 18th December 2022. We visited a number of places including Dandeli, Gokharna, Murudeshwar. All things were well planned and co-ordinated seamlessly. A big shout out to Karanraj Mehta who planned some surprises for us during the trip. These surprise included scuba diving ( we did for the first time and it was just an amazinggggggg experience although at first we were very much not sure if we will be able to do the scuba, but we finally made it and that will always be a great experience which we had) and also a visit to Firefly camp site. I would surely recommend to reach out to The Territory for such great and adventurous camp and I am also eagerly waiting for the next adventure with them.

Kanha is the most beautiful forest in India I must say. It's the best gift by nature. We had a great time with Karanraj. He managed the trip so smoothly, The stay he chose was Nice and family-friendly, with Good food. We had a great time with Karanraj, He beautifully collated information about the forest, Birds, and tigers, and Barasingha. It was exciting to know deeply about Tigers and their life. Karan also showed us documentaries on Tigers and tiger reserves. Karan can be the best host amongst all your friends and eventually can be a friend for a lifetime.
The trip was well organized with proper schedules, We managed to see 4 tigers in 2days time- Pattewala, Neela Nala, Chhoti Mada, and MV3. It was the most amazing safari I must say. We also saw Jackal, Barasingha, Vultures, Spotted deer, Gaur and whatnot! The guides were very friendly and Karanraj knows most of them very closely as he visits often that's why sometimes its easier to witness Tigers.
It's worth going on the safari with the Territory team. It's always a special and new experience with the team. Kanha and all other safari destinations will always compel you to visit again and again. Thank you, Territory for this spiritual experience.
