I have been to Bharat Natya Mandir couple of times to enjoy Marathi plays with family. Last week I had enjoyed Marathi play "Sanyastha Khadaga" based on Vir Savarkar book.

This place assumes greater cultural significance in the history of Pune city. It is one of the oldest place in Pune city, where ‘Stage Plays’ are conducted. Mostly, these plays are conducted in local language ‘Marathi’. It is a place, which can be enjoyed with friends & families to watch ‘Stage Plays’. At times, musical events are also conducted at this place. There are lot of eateries available around this place, where veg & non veg food items are available.
