This is a branch of Swami Narayan series of temples which have been opened in multiple places of late including the famous one - Akshardham in New Delhi. These temples are very clean and managed efficiently. The architecture, the idols and layout is excellent.

The two things which the organizers need to have a look at are - 1. The toilets for the visitors are in extremely bad shape. These are literally unusable due to lack of maintenance. There is no shoe rack to keep the shoes properly and the devotess scatter these around the periphery of the temple.

This is the best temple I have seen so far in Pune, right on top in my list.

Mind Soothing News For Visitors:
• Free Entry
• Free Parking: Ample space for 2 & 4 wheeler
• One restaurant providing snacks (Photos of menu with rate chart attached)
• One soft drink & ice cream shop (Photos of menu with rate chart attached)
• Toilet facility for gents & ladies
• Plenty of sitting arrangement to sit & relax
• Green lawn for little kids to play & have fun
• Eye pleasing cleanliness of temple
• Photography is allowed around the temple premises
• There is restriction in the inside of main temple on top floor & ground floor with sticker “Photography Prohibited) posted on wall.
NB:

I took photos of Ganpati & Hanuman Idols with photo sound off inside Top floor temple. Few visitors were also taking photos.

I enquired with temple staff inside Ground floor temple for taking photos of God’s idols. He helped me by saying take the photos fast in his presence.

Important Tips:

Best time to visit is just before getting dark so that:

The splendid temple construction views during day time will leave you spellbound
Amazing colorful lighting views of temple at night will leave you awestruck
I was spellbound & awestruck means I visited this temple during day & night.

i. Visitors are allowed to enter this temple only during following time slots:
Morning: 7.30 am to 12 Noon
Evening: 4 pm to 8.30 pm
So don’t visit between 8.30 pm to 7.00 am & between 12 to 4 pm.

ii. Most visitors see only the top floor temple, as many don’t know there is temple too on ground floor exactly below the top floor temple.

iii. Entry to top floor temple is from front side, remove footwear & climb up steps.
There was no earmarked footwear stand so leave footwear near steps.

iv. Exit of top floor temple is at center left, descend down the steps.
After coming down, take left U turn or right U turn to visit the ground floor temple

v. Entry to ground floor temple is below the exit steps of top floor temple

vi. Top floor temple has divinely glowing charmful idols of :
Ganpati on left front corner
Hanuman on right front corner
Krishna & Radha plus Swami / Maharaj in center

vii. Ground floor temple has divinely glowing charmful Idols of:
Laxminarayan & Balaji on rear side
(Seetaraman) (Sant Dyaneshwar Sant Namdev) (Vithal Rukmini) (Sant Eknath Sant Tukaram) (Shivparvati) on front side
Swamis / Maharajs in center

This is the first time, I am seeing these many Idols with a same unique charmful glow. They are uniquely constructed in a most fascinating style.

The alluring sight of all above mentioned idols of Gods & Goddess will leave you with a most Gratifying Feel.

Routes to this temple from Katraj junction:

1. First route from Katraj junction to Navle over bridge (4 km) & from Navle over bridge to Temple (1.3 km)

a) Visitors coming to Katraj junction from Pune side
Take right turn & go straight till before Navle Over Bridge. Don’t cross over bridge.

b) Visitors coming to Katraj junction from Katraj ghat side
Take left turn & go straight till Navle Over Bridge. Don’t cross over bridge.

c) Visitors coming to Katraj junction from Kondhwa side
Go straight till Navle Over Bridge. Don’t cross over bridge.

Just immediately prior to Navle over bridge, turn left & follow service road for very short distance. This service road joins with expressway, so get on expressway & drive further on expressway keeping to left for a short distance.

On seeing the signboard of temple on very 1st left diversion service road, leave expressway & descend down left side service road that will bring you to junction of Ambegaon Budhruk & Narhe over bridge. Go straight further from this junction, while on the service road, on your right on the other side of expressway road, you will see the temple. You will come across a bridge over expressway with signboard of temple, take right turn, cross the over bridge & immediately after crossing the over bridge you are in front of Main temple gate no. 1.
Gate no. 1 is for entry of people without vehicles.

On reaching gate no. 1 take left turn & go straight for 50 meters & take right diversion road that will bring you to gate no. 3 of temple that allows entry for visitors with vehicles.

PS:

i. If you miss to take left turn just before Navale over bridge, then go straight, cross the over bridge & take right U turn, drive straight for few meters & take right turn to come back on the missed service road that runs parellel to bridge.

ii. If you miss to go straight at Ambegaon Budhruk & Narhe over bridge & instead you turned right then after crossing the over bridge, immediately turn left & follow the service road that will bring you at the temple Gate no. 1 in a minute.

d) Visitors coming from Khadakhwasla, Aundh, Baner side should follow above road tips from Navle over bridge or Ambegaon Budhruk & Narhe over bridge onwards.

2. Second route from Katraj Junction via Ambegaon Budhruk
On reaching Katraj main junction from Pune side, go straight further 100 meter or so & then take right turn that is the road that leads to Ambegaon Budhruk.

You go straight & straight passing thru residential societies namely Vithal Heritage, Windsor, Malhar, Ambegaon Budhruk Bus Depot & finally at Ambegaon Budhruk & Narhe over bridge. The road condition is little less good from Ambegaon Budhruk onwards till Narhe over bridge.

On reaching over bridge take left turn immediately before bridge or immediately after bridge as both side service roads leads to the temple located at a minute’s drive.

Do see the photos on trip advisor as well as on google search engine to get the real feel of this place.

Hope, the readers will find above info very helpful to plan their visit.

Wish you all the best for this special Gratifying experience.

I wanted to visit this temple desperately as the reviews of this place were very good. Finally, along with my family we visited this place in April 2017. I must say, this place is marvelous creation in Pune. Its serene, calm and beautiful. Recommended to visit in evening and you will fall in love with the landscape garden and the light effects all over the place.

The food is available within the premises but you will not get much varieties as this temple is still under construction.

I've been there during opening of this Mandir, it's one of the best places to visit in Pune. It'll be the spiritual landmark of the city. You feel peace within when you sit inside the Mandir. A truly spiritual experience. If you're around Pune, this is a must visit place with Family.
