Visapur Fort is good option to Lohagad Fort if you want to avoid too much crowd. But yes it is bit tough than Lohagad as it does not have proper steps like they are in Lohagad. We headed to Visapur from Chinchwad via the old...More

Bit of advice for first timers is to get a local to help you out for directions as you might easily get lost.

We went in a bus to base of Visapur fort. Took 2.5 hours reaching up. Last 40 minutes is a rather steep climb but good fun. Being monsoon, all is nice a green around. From the top you can see the lakes and valleys and...More

It's a raw trek, you will get lots to walk, lot's to climb and an amazing view. But it's not for faint hearted as one has to climb steep slope full of rocks and it's very tiring for an amateur trekker.

No, there is no any camping its difficult to stay there . Simply you can stay in resort for night . In monsoon very risky area for tenting.

No, because there is narrow road for visapur., You have to park near bhaje waterfall (caves). From there 3 kms around you have to walk for the fort base camp.

Very risky and dangerous trek in monsoon now. Very heavy rainfall and waterfall is too difficult in rainy season. you should wait for sometimes atleast 1 week and then you can go there easily.
