Went to Sydney point once in the afternoon, when it was simply too hot to walk. The next morning however, it rained, and then it was so beautiful. The clouds come in and hover around you, it is all misty and lovely.

This is the best view point especially in the evening. Spend at least 2 hours in the evening to enjoy best view points of mountains and lakes in the deep valleys!!

The sydney point is the best place in Panchgani.
The views of the valley with dhom dam below is simply mindblowing. It is about 1.5 to 2 Km from Panchgani bus stand and is situated opposite to Krishna Valley. Beautiful water bodies of dhoom dhaam, Pandavgad and Madhardeo are pretty visible.Must visit. It is energetic.
