We drove past the river, and it's a lovely river with enough water even during the summer time. There is boating activity which we could not do, but it is definitely recommended.

There is a temple near the shore. River can be seen while going from railway station to town . Scenery is good

There is a place called Vashishthi darshan from where you can view the sunset. It can be called as small tableland. You need to reach early there to get a good view. It was very crowdy when we visited. You can get snacks like pakode...More

It is a very scenic river when you watch it from Quality Revierview or Highway which runs through Hill in Chiplun. You can go boad ridding and is real fun.
