Based on Trip Advisor recommendations hired JK Tours and Travels (JK) of Aurangabad, Maharashtra for our tours to Aurangabad City, Ajanta Caves, Ellora Caves and Shirdi. Azmat of JK was very professional and prompt in his dealings and made our tour/travel arrangements to be safe & secure. Azmat also provide an excellent Driver named Muktar who was very professional and polite. Besides driving us to the various historic sites, Muktar also provided excellent information of each areas and locations visited. I would proudly recommend and will use JK Tours and Travels in the future also. Thanks JK.

From the very beginning of my planning, the team was very co-operative and professional. They suggested the itinerary after hearing my plans. I hired tempo traveller for our trip. On time pickup at station for our group though very early in the morning. Very flexible, polite and friendly service. The vehicle was very near and clean. our driver, Imran was very nice, knowledgable and flexible and co-operative with full patience to take us and wait everywhere without any fuss and always smiling! Thank you for your wonderful professional service!

We booked the private tour and were very satisfied with the experience. Our biggest priority for booking the tour was safety since we were mostly women. The drivers were courteous, polite and very considerate. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. In fact even after the tour was over the drivers offered to drive us to the city center as a courtesy. I would highly recommend them. Couple of things to keep in mind, unrelated to the tour operator- 1. The road to Ajanta is under construction so be ready for a bumpy ride. 2. If you are looking for handwoven himroo fabric, there is one family (Qureshi) near Delhi gate that still sells the real stuff. 3. At each historical site, ask for a govt. approved guide who can explain the intracies of each place

This is a once in lifetime experience, a must for everyone. In Ajanta, huge caves (almost 30 in number) with intricate carvings and paintings, dug into the side of a single mountain from the outside in, taking almost 500 years to complete around 0 BC. In Ellora, a huge Shiva temple of mind boggling size, again with intricate carvings depicting various stories from Hindu mythology, dug from the top down into a mountain. All with chisel and hammer into the hardest of rocks. Still in wonderment at these monumental achievements of ancient Indians, which probably cannot be repeated in the 20th century without advanced technology. The road to Ajanta is currently under repair but let that not deter anyone from taking in this once in a lifetime experience. Drivers and guides will take care of any problems.
