This is one of the better temples in the complex. Very tall, more and finer detail than the others. Worth significant time browsing all sides with binoculars. There are a few unique sexual positions carved in this one but tricky to find. Recommended.

From erotic, to fauna & flora, beautiful women and many elephants the carvings are exquisite. Tall steps to get into shrine & shoes must be taken off but not for outside.takes about 30 mins to fully appreciate

The carvings in the temple are simply amazing. A photographer's delight. Contrary to popular belief, the statues are not all erotic, only around 20% may be erotic. They need to be pointed out by the guide in most places. The stories behind the statues and the structure need to be understood. Very well maintained by the Archaeological Society.

This temple comes under the western group of Khajuraho temples. This is the largest, most elegant, well preserved temple dedicated to Shiva. Sculptures give this temple a live feel. This temple was built by Vidydhara in early 11th century. This is a Pachayatan temple and vestibule is having pradakshina. There are approximately 900 temples. Platform is very large, chiseling of... Never miss this when you are in Khajurao. One must hire a guide who will explain the images on temples and stories associated with it.

These are the largest of the Khajuraho western temples and designed to resemble the Himalayas. The lion sculptures are especially striking.

It is city of ancient temples. Tourist who have interest in History, Architecture, they will find a lot to see in Khajuraho. Kandariya Mahadev temple is one of the main temples in Khajuraho. One must visit Panna while visiting Khajuraho.
