The beach is rarest of the beaches in India in terms of beauty. One can see the hills reddish and the nice beach along with. Its frequented by foreigners and is accessible via road, railway as well.

Good beach and people come here to do the last rites of their departed family members. You can walk the whole length of the beach to either the north or south cliff.

It be nice if you book a hotel near the Papanashanam beach where you intend to perform the rituals. The public toilet is not good and I would not suggest it. The beach is always crowded. Please book a hotel for one day... More
