Neat & clean where we can enjoy with family & friends. Long walk way beach & clean water. Resorts, Restaurants, Bar,Shops were there.

Very clean beach! Nice to just go and enjoy. We went in July and it was little rough. still we could enjoy a bit bathing. There are lifeguards who will warn you if you are crossing the danger zone. There are autos available close by...More

Beach with black sand is amazing for some people, cool and calm place, near to North cliff and helipad in varkala, all hotels are nearby

its a sacred beach so lot of people on weekends , otherwise clean and nice beach . one can enjoy with family

It be nice if you book a hotel near the Papanashanam beach where you intend to perform the rituals. The public toilet is not good and I would not suggest it. The beach is always crowded. Please book a hotel for one day... More
