Beautiful beach and great restaurants close by. Sandy beach, great place for sunsets and walks. Further up ade some great shops for buying all your souvenirs.

Nice to lie on the golden sand to sunbath, and the People nice and intrigued when talking to them. Rubbish, plastic pollution at an all time high, and no sign of cleaning it up.

Good place to visit during day time. But the area is let down by litter and lack of cleanliness. Lots of stray dogs are endemic at the beach front.

Not really, its raining but its not what the Media says. Its safe to travel and there is no flood around Varkala
