A must visit. A trek up the hill by road or steps and a lovely ashram. Unfortunately closed due to the COVID effect however, the walk and surroundings were worth it.

Located in the heart of the town. A very calming experience. Look out for the meaningful anecdotes displayed on either side of the stairs on the way to the samadhi.

Our yoga teacher brought us here, as he studied and lived here for decades. It is a beautiful place with many trees, bearing fruit and we even saw bats, hanging upside down. The bathrooms are not good, very dirty, so I would advise to go elsewhere. Most of this was closed but it was still very busy, and we were able to walk around.

We used come to this place regularly to enjoy natures beauty. The place was so quite with lot of greenery, however recent development has destroyed entire ambience due to new constructions of several Samadhi Mandir! Trees are less and those birds who used to sing always are missing. So sad and pathetic

The campus has an abundance of trees and most of them have small boards with inspirational quotes of Sree Narayana Guru. This campus also has the samadhi location of Guru and his favourite disciple Bodhananda Swamikal.

This is a famous pilgrimage centre where the samadhi of Sri Narayana Guru took place. This is a must visit place once you plan to come to Varkala. There are many quite places where you can sit and relax beneath the shaded trees.
