The best time to visit Periyar National Park is early morning to spot the wild life. The Periyar lake is a beautiful place inside the National park and worth spending some time watching the greenery and wildlife.

If I am not too late to help. The only jeep I know about is the one you pick up on Thekkady. You don't book, it is first come first serve
