Be sure to visit Periyar just for the scenic beauty with least expectation to view tiger as when you are in boat safari its very least a chance to see something like Tiger. But scenic beauty is at its best.

The lake is really very beautiful ,weather was lovely too. The ticketing and crowd management could improve. The launch trip on the lake was lovely too.

It is inside the Tiger reserve and hence only forest vehicle will take us in from the city .The waiting area is well planned and offers a good details about the activities offered

Actually you have to go with your ticket to the BUS stand and then they will drive you to the forest in their own buses. Where you have to buy the tickets for the Boating

it coasted around 270/- per head,its better to book early though online booking.
