Sensory Delight at Green Land Spice Garden
We had an absolutely lovely tour with Tindu. We were able to see many spices, fruits and vegetables we had never seen before. It was also great to see how many of the things we buy in the supermarket are actually grown and harvested. We were able to smell a variety of leaves and spices plucked directly from the plant which was a sensory delight. Such as, 5 types of basil, Allspice and Cinnamon leaves! It was just the right length... 30-45 mins which was perfect with our busy schedule. - Tara and Elliot

    Brilliant visit
We were not sure which spice garden to visit, our hotel recommended this one and we’re so glad they did. Tindu took us around the garden, telling us about all the spices, herbs and plants there. She described how they are grown and what processes they each go through before being ready for our use. Tindu was so helpful and really made our visit so worthwhile.

A perfect visit to the spice plantation
Upon our arrival we were meet by the most delightful lady who guided us through the complex. She should us and explain the different plants and their use. She could not been nicer. I wish I could remember half of what she told us. Then in the store she guided us through the spices for sale. It was a lovely visit and even went back the next day.

    Amazing experience, really
The tour of the garden was amazing ! So many plants and trees. Tintu is a passionate guide. She explained so many relevant things and knows a lot about plants and their properties. She answered all our questions and took time to show us around, had us smell and guess the name of leaves. I highly recommand a stop and a visit at Green Land. And the shop also offers great quality products. Thanks a million Tintu ! 🙏

A very good plantation with a plethora of plants to be seen.
Finally a genuine spice plantation experience. Greenland spice garden has a plethora of spice plants/trees and other exotic plants. Mr. Shinoj who accompanied us during our visit, is genuinely friendly and patiently explained the properties and benefits of all the plants in his care. The profusion of plants to be seen here is quite mind boggling and combined with Mr. Shinoj's guidance definitely makes this place a must visit for anyone visiting Thekkady and looking for a genuine spice plantation visit. Will definitely recommend it for spice plantation tour in Thekkady.

    A spice garden gem
This is a little gem. We were shown around by Tindtu ( I think that's how her name is spelt). She was very friendly, knowledgeable, patient and wasn't making a hard sell, which was lovely. Her English was very good, too, so we could chat about the plants and their uses. The shop that is attached to the farm was nicely stocked with products from the farm - largely organic - and reasonably priced. A really nice educational experience. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to gardeners and spice lovers

    Relaxed informative visit
We had a very lovely hour being shown round the garden by Tintu. It was a very calm, relaxed and informative visit. Tintu was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with; she tested our knowledge by crushing leaves and asking us to try and identify. The garden is beautiful and well worth a visit. The shop at the end sells all their organic products and is well worth a good look. They were all very helpful and polite 😊

A great walk through the beautiful garden, with great explanations and stories about the plants, spices and there medical and culinary applicaties. The guide was not trying to smother us with an overdose of information. Very good experience in a relaxed atmosphere. The spiceshop has excellent quality spices and reasonable prices.

The young woman who was my guide (unfortunately I have forgotten her name) had extensive knowledge of plants and their botanical and health properties. It is a relatively short tour but you are able to see a number of plants and in the shop can buy a wide range of spices and products.
